It was so nice to see a lot of the ladies last night with their completed quilts from last month’s strip-fest! They dug into those boxes of strip fabric I got from Connecting Threads and came up with some fun quilts and kits.
We also had other wonderful quilts from our “satellite group”, digging into their stashes of fabric and leftover blocks and panels and continuing to play with Sew Fresh Quilts Dog Gone Cute pattern, and having a friendly competition among a couple of them. Kathy is up 7 to 3. I see a nice bottle of wine in Kathy’s future! Thank you ladies for helping out!
We collected 18 quilts and 2 oven mitts last night. Great job!!
To see our group’s progression, check out the Ft. Thomas RMH CQ Tally. We are currently at 62 quilts collected for year 2…. think we can exceed our goal last here and hit 200?
We had a lot of busy little sewers in the group, cutting, ironing, preparing ouch buddies, and welcomed a new quilter last night. Can’t wait to see everyone next month.

Sounds like a really fun group of ladies to hang out with each month. You sure are some busy stitchers. What a lovely display of beautiful quilts!
