Hello! I’m super late with this post – I swear I’m still at it! In January we unfortunately got snowed out of our all day Quilt Day, but we made up for it this month, even though we were on a different night. We had 50 quilts turned in! What?? And here they are….
We had lots of panels and cheaters turned in,made me go home and dig through my stash. You’ll be seeing even more next month!
We had some timeless block variations turned in:
Here are some fun variations on the 10″ square:

And lastly, Christy made a super fun tipsy tumbler quilt with batiks:
I have created a 3 part RMH CQ Scrappy Challenge which releases one block a month, but I’ve mixed it up a bit by including a traditional block method (using Sew Fresh Quilts designs), paper pieced block method (using Wombat Quilts blocks) or an applique block method (created by me by using a free vector online created by terdpongvector). You can choose one, two or all three! I hope you join in 🙂 You can find the blocks on our facebook group page Ronald McDonald House Cincinnati Comfort Quilters and also follow the progress on Instagram by searching #rmhcq. We started in January, and by September the final block will be released. In October, the final instructions will be sent and then you should have a completed quilt top(s) by November! I’m going to run a contest and for each block you post, you will earn an entry. By November 1, if you post a completed top, you will earn an additional 5 entries!
Here’s a sneak peak on my applique top:
For more information, please feel free to email me or better yet, come to our session on the first Tuesday of every month and say Hi!
See you next month!
