Hello! We started off this new year with our first quilt theme(s): robots and/or characters! We had 38 quilts turned in that were delivered to Ronald McDonald House. My photography skills we abysmal this night, likely due to my laughing while taking pictures. Some of these are blurry and there are at least 3 quilts that are too blurry to post. I apologize if this was one of your quilts.

Christy had some assistants in her neighborhood helping out with their community service hours. Check out Chloe and Caroline (and Christy’s cat Sammy has helped reconfigure the quilt wall at the bottom…smh):

I also showed a very quick freezer paper applique demo. If you’d like to see more on that, check out this video Raw Edge Applique With Freezer Paper and Elmer’s Glue. I used a glue stick, but either works!

Next month, our themes are hearts and repeated blocks/patterns. I look forward to seeing you then!
