We had a small group at the Newport Library this month. Most of the evening was spent clearing out fabric, and by the end of the night the car was completely empty — an unusual but satisfying outcome.

The Fun & Games Committee continued working on plans for the September game night (details coming soon) and also discussed something new and exciting for November. More information will follow as plans are finalized.

We also received 13 quilt turn-ins, keeping our donation numbers moving steadily upward.

Next month’s meeting will be in the small room at the Ft. Thomas Library, 5:00–8:45pm. I’ll be bringing a donation from a long‑time Comfort Quilter who recently downsized, so bring a bag and be ready for a little shopping.
