The Ft. Thomas RMH CQers had a GREAT week! 35 quilts, 29 Santa bags and 6 stockings were turned in on Wednesday. Luckily I had a few helpers pinning quilts up to take pictures.
Let’s start with our challenge. Lorna from Sew Fresh Quilts was nice enough to let me share her Smitten Kitten pattern for this month’s challenge. A few were turned in the last couple months too (check those out), but these two vintage inspired floral kittens are adorable! Well done Brenda & Heather:
We had some quilts turned in using jelly roll patterns:
A bright and fun Bento box:
Lots of quilts using 6″ blocks:
And some with 5″ blocks:
These 10″ blocks with a 5″ 4 patch is always a quick quilt:
Mom used up all her extra blocks to finish this soothing quilt:
Had some donations from outside our normal group too:
And my husband used his graph paper skills to design this quilt:
Next month we will have the Newport Central Catholic cheerleaders helping us for our annual ouch buddy extravaganza!
We are at 48% of our goal with 6 months left for our year. Let’s try to use up our scraps on the next challenges (got to make room for more fabric).
Here are some great examples turned in this month! I can’t believe I missed these pictures when I published earlier:
See you next month!
