Writing this post through blurry eyes this morning. The Ft. Thomas Ronald McDonald House Comfort Quilters (RMHCQ) group got together and as usual, turned in a bunch of beautiful quilts. We also had 4 new faces stop by the session.
The ladies are grabbing up kits and cranking out quilts:
We also had some great quilts from panels turned in:
A bunch of quilts with other patterns (names I cannot remember) were completed:
I know this one, one of my faves, the Swoon block:
Brenda took all of our Christmas in July community blocks using Sew Fresh Quilts Boxes-N-Bows tutorial and made these great quilts:
We even had some super cute stockings and pot holders turned in:
You can get these patterns on the Ronald McDonald House page here.
In all, we had 24 quilts turned in last night, keeping us right on track for our year 3 goal of 250 quilts.
The challenge block this month for our next community quilt is the Garden Fence block. The colored fabric can be any color/print you want, just keep the white fabric white. These blocks are due by our October session.
Thanks for another great night!
